Although they are mainly used as adjectives, these words are also nouns, both singular and plural. Example:

I'd like to paint the kitchen using a grey (noun).

Here is an alphabetic list of the most common colours. It also includes comparative and superlative adjectives.

black, blacker, blackest: 黑

blue, bluer, bluest: 蓝

brown, browner, brownest: 褐色

cyan, more cyan, most cyan: 蓝绿

green, greener, greenest: 绿色

grey [US: gray, same pronunciation], greyer, greyest: 灰

indigo, more indigo, most indigo: 靛青

maroon (two pronunciations), more maroon, most maroon: 栗色的

orange, more orange, most orange: 橙

pink, pinker, pinkest: 粉

purple, purpler, purplest (or, more purple, most purple): 紫

red, redder, reddest: 朱红

yellow, yellower, yellowest: 黄

violet, more violet, most violet: 绀

white, whiter, whitest. 白色
