第37课:名词和动词:A-G。 |
Lesson 37: Words that are Both Nouns and Verbs: A-G. |
英语的一个难点是,这么多单词有多重含义。 在本课中,您将学习一些名词和动词,而不会改变拼写。 |
One of the difficulties with English is that so many words have multiple meanings. In this lesson you will learn some words that are both nouns and verbs, with no change of spelling. |
| |
它们都是修订版1和修订版2中的所有单词。其中有近100个,所以本课将教你三分之一,首字母从A到G. |
They are all words from Revision 1 and Revision 2. There are almost 100 of them, so this lesson will teach you about one-third of them, with first letters from A to G. |
| |
从这一点开始,约翰将以这种方式描述文字: |
From this point in the course, John will describe words in this way: |
| |
对于名词:单词,然后是“(n)”,单词的复数,然后是“(pl)”,然后是名词的含义或含义,包括俚语和惯用语意义。 例如: |
For nouns: the word, then "(n)", the plural of the word, then "(pl)", then the meaning or meanings of the noun, including Slang and Idiomatic meanings. For example: |
dog (n), dogs (pl): a male canine animal. Idiom: "man's best friend". 雄性犬科动物。 成语:“人类最好的朋友”。 |

![]() |
|
| |
对于动词:动词的标准形式,然后是“(v)”,然后是所有时态,按照第22-28课的顺序:现在简单时态,现在连续时态,过去简单时态,过去连续时态,未来简单时态,未来 连续时态。 例: |
For verbs: the standard form of the verb, then "(v)" then all the tenses, in the order of Lessons 22-28: Present Simple Tense, Present Continuous Tense, Past SimpleTense, Past Continuous Tense , Future Simple Tense, Future Continuous Tense. Example: |
to run (v) 跑步: to move quickly on your feet. 快速站立。 |
![]() |
![]() |
|
| |
||
你注意到每个时态都有两个“你”形式的动词。 “我”和“他”之间的“你”是一种单数形式,意思是一个人。 “我们”和“他们”之间的“你”是复数形式。 |
||
You notice that there are two "you" forms of the verb for each tense. The "you" between "I" and "he" is a singular form, meaning one person. The "you" between "we" and "they" is a plural form. |
||
| |
||
另请注意,单数和复数“你”形式对于每个时态都是相同的。 如果不查看上下文,您无法确定英语动词是指单数“you”还是复数“you”! |
||
Also notice that the singular and the plural "you" form are the same for every tense. You cannot determine whether an English verb refers to a singular "you" or a plural "you" without looking at the context! |
||
| |
||
例如,我对扬说,“你跑得快”必须是单数,因为我正在和一个人说话。 我对Jan和Sandra说,“你跑得快”必须是复数,因为我和两个人说话。 两个句子中的“你跑”字是相同的。 |
||
For example, I said to Jan, "you run quickly" must be singular, because I am speaking to one person. I said to Jan and Sandra, "you run quickly" must be plural, because I am speaking to two people. The words "you run" are the same in both sentences. |
||
| |
另请注意,对于任何一个时态,“我”,“你”,“我们”和“他们”的情况都是相似的。 所以John可以将上面的长描述简化为: |
Notice also that the "I", "you", "we" and "they" cases are similar for any one tense. So John can simplify the long description above to: |
to run (v) 跑步: to move quickly on your feet. 快速站立。 |
![]() |
![]() |
|
| |
约翰还有一个缩写。 对于所有情况,过去简单时态通常是相同的单词,我/你/他/她/它/我们/他们,所以这将显示为/ all /。 这是“跑”: |
John has a further abbreviation. The Past Simple tense is usually the same word for all cases, I/you/he/she/it/we/they, so this will be shown as /all/. Here it is for "to run": |
I/you/he/she/it/we/they ran -> /all/ ran |
![]() |
![]() |
|
| |
这是现在连续时态的另一个缩写。 每个动词都有:我/你是/他是/她是/我们/他们是,所以这将显示为/ am / is / are /。 这是“跑”: |
Here is another abbreviation, for the Present Continuous Tense. Every verb has: I am/you are/he is/she is/it is/we are/they are, so this will be shown as /am/is/are/. Here it is for "to run": |
I am/you are/he is/she is/it is/we are/they are running -> /am/is/are running |
![]() |
![]() |
|
| |
这是过去连续时态的另一个缩写。 每个动词都有:我/你是/他/她是/它是/我们/他们是,所以这将显示为/ was / were /。 这是“跑”: |
Here is another abbreviation, for the Past Continuous Tense. Every verb has: I was/you were/he was/she was/it was/we were/they were, so this will be shown as /was/were/. Here it is for "to run": |
I was/you were/he was/she was/it was/we were/they were running -> /was/were/ running. |
![]() |
![]() |
|
| |
这是Future Simple Tense的另一个缩写。 每个动词都有:我/我们你/他/她/它/他们将,所以这将显示为/ shall / will /。 这是“跑”: |
Here is another abbreviation, for the Future Simple Tense. Every verb has: I/we shall you/he/she/it/they will, so this will be shown as /shall/will/. Here it is for "to run": |
I/we shall run, you/he/she/it/they will run -> /shall/will/ run |
![]() |
![]() |
|
| |
这是Future Continuous Tense的最后一个缩写。 每个动词都有:我/我们将是你/他/她/它们将是,所以这将显示为/ shall/will be/。 这是“跑”: |
Here is a final abbreviation, for the Future Continuous Tense. Every verb has: I/we shall be you/he/she/it/they will be, so this will be shown as /shall/will be/. Here it is for "to run": |
I/we shall be running, you/he/she/it/they will be running -> /shall /will/ be running. |

使用所有缩写,我们的动词“to run”如下所示: |
With all abbreviations, our verb "to run" looks like this: |
to run (v) 跑步: to move quickly on your feet. 快速站立。 |

A Mandarin translation is shown for the singular noun, its meaning, the simple present tense of the verb, its meaning, and for other types and their meanings. |
| |
请注意,一些英语单词有很多含义,通常是令人惊讶的无关! |
Note that some English words have many meanings, often surprisingly unrelated! |
