note (n), notes (pl): A short piece of text (writing, word processing, email etc). 一小段文字(写作,文字处理,电子邮件等)。

Extra written information in a book or report, usually in smaller text at the foot of a page. 书籍或报告中的额外书面信息,通常是页面底部的较小文本。

A collection of written information. 书面信息的集合。

A piece of paper money (also called, "a bill"). 一张纸币(也称为“账单”)。

The following word has many meanings, so the definitions and examples are each divided into three sets.

order (n), orders (pl): A way of arranging objects or people. 一种安排物体或人的方式。

"Out of order" = not arranged in the correct order. “乱序”=未按正确顺序排列。

A request to supply food (in a restaurant) or other goods. 要求提供食物(在餐馆中)或其他商品。

"On order" = requested but not yet supplied. “在订单上”=已请求但尚未提供。

"To make something to order" = to manufacture something to the customer's special request. “要订购的东西”=根据客户的特殊要求制造东西。

"Strong orders" / "Healthy orders" = a pleasingly large number of orders for a company to supply. “强订单”/“健康订单”=公司提供的订单数量令人满意。

"To cancel an order" = to tell the supplier that you no longer want the goods. Often you must pay a cancellation fee of, usually, 10% of the cost of the order. “取消订单”=告诉供应商您不再需要货物。 通常,您必须支付取消费,通常是订单成本的10%。
