第68课:修订版3:A-B |
Lesson 68: Revision 3: A-B |
从最初的两个修订课程(第31和第32课)到现在,本课程向您显示了成千上万的单词,其中大部分是约翰所说的。
From the first two Revision Lessons (31 and 32) until now, this Course has shown you thousands more words, most of which John has spoken. |
接下来的8课将修改这些单词,John会添加许多您尚未看到的相关单词。
The next 8 lessons revise these words, and John adds many related words that you will not have seen yet. |
名词同时显示单数和复数形式,即使您在课程中还没有看到它们。 如果名词没有复数,则不会显示(pl)。 |
Nouns show both singular and plural cases, even if you haven't seen both of them in the course yet. If a noun has no plural, there will be no (pl) shown. |
动词会显示所有四个基本部分,即使您在课程中还没有看到它们。 |
All four basic parts are shown for verbs, even if you haven't seen them all in the course yet. |
例如,在第51课中发生了“accept”,在第37课中发生了“accepted”。这只是动词“要接受”的两个部分:
For example, "accept" occurred in Lesson 51 and "accepted" occurred in Lesson 37. These are only two parts of the verb "to accept": |
I/you/we/they/ ACCEPT, he/she/it/ ACCEPTS.
/am/is/are/ ACCEPTING.
/all/ ACCEPTED.
/was/were/ ACCEPTING.
/shall/will/ ACCEPT.
/shall/will/ be ACCEPTING.
如果去掉人称代词,只剩下四个基本部分,以大写表示: ACCEPT,ACCEPTS,ACCEPTING,ACCEPTED。 到目前为止,您已经学习了很多动词,这四个部分应该是组成任何动词的所有部分所需要的。 |
If you take away the personal pronouns, you are left with four basic parts, shown in upper-case: ACCEPT, ACCEPTS, ACCEPTING, ACCEPTED. You have learned so many verbs by now, these four parts should be all you need to make up all the parts of any verb. |
修订本中包含缺少的单词形式。 例如,“疼痛”在第51课中作为名词出现(弗兰克的臀部疼痛)。 约翰加了复数,“疼痛”。 但是“ ache”也是动词,因此John在动词中添加了四个部分,尽管您在课程中尚未见过该动词。 |
Missing word forms are included in this revision. For example, "ache" occurred as a noun in Lesson 51 (Frank has an ache in his hip). John adds the plural, "aches". But "ache" is also a verb, so John adds the four parts of the verb, although you haven't seen this verb in the course yet. |
这些单词的顺序是字母顺序,但不是严格按字母顺序。 John更改了顺序,以使单数名词始终位于其复数之前。 例如,“ability”和“abilities”。 这些不是严格按字母顺序排列的。 |
The order of these words is alphabetic, but not strictly alphabetic. John changes the order so that singular nouns always come before their plurals. For example, "ability" and "abilities". These are not in strictly alphabetic order. |
显示的某些名词是“专有”名词,例如,人们的名字,如Ernie。 您首先在第20课中看到专有名词,它们以大写字母开头。 |
Some of the nouns shown are "proper" nouns, peoples' names like Ernie, for example. You first saw proper nouns in Lesson 20. They start with capital letters. |
对于名词,仅显示单数普通话形式。 |
For nouns, only the singular Mandarin form is shown. |
对于动词,仅显示当前时态普通话形式。 |
For verbs, only the present tense Mandarin form is shown. |
在形容词具有独特的比较词和最高级词的情况下,约翰展示了这三个词。 例如,“able,abler,ablest”。 但是,如果在基本形容词上加上“更多”和“最多”来构成比较和最高级,则约翰仅显示基本形容词。 例如,“准确”。 |
In cases of adjectives with unique comparatives and superlatives, John shows all three. For example, "able, abler, ablest". But where the comparatives and superlatives are made by adding "more" and "most" to the basic adjective, John shows only the basic adjective. For example, "accurate". |
对于形容词和副词,仅显示基本的普通话形式。 |
For adjectives and adverbs, only the basic Mandarin form is shown. |
在学习这些课程时,请注意由名词组成的动词有多少。 还要注意,动词的前两个基本部分几乎总是与名词及其复数相同。 例:
address (n) 地址, addresses (pl), address (v) 讲话, addresses, addressing, addressed |
While you work through these lessons, note how many verbs are made from nouns. Note also that the first two basic parts of the verb are almost always the same as the noun and its plural. Example:
address (n) 地址, addresses (pl), address (v) 讲话, addresses, addressing, addressed |
条目可能包含相关的单词,例如名词,后跟相关的动词。 不同类型的单词之间用分号(;)分隔。 这是分号的主要用途-将句子分解为相关的构想。 您会听到John在每个分号处稍稍停顿。 |
An entry may contain related words, for example a noun followed by its related verb. The different types of words are separated by semi-colons (;). This is the principal use of semicolons - to break a sentence into related ideas. You hear that John pauses slightly at each semi-colon. |
例如,注意不规则动词:come, comes, coming, came。 有很多! |
Watch for irregular verbs, for example: come, comes, coming, came. There are many of them! |
注意发音或重音从名词或形容词变为动词的单词,例如:permit, perfect。 |
Watch for words where the pronunciation or stress changes from noun or adjective to verb, for example: permit, perfect. |
条目在屏幕上的间距很好。 条目可以以名词,动词或某些其他类型的单词开头。 条目中的所有内容都有相关的含义。
Entries are well separated on the screen. An entry may start with a noun, a verb or some other type of word. Everything in an entry has related meanings. |
这些修订课程总共覆盖13000个单词。 它们包含很多信息,并且每节课需要几天的学习时间。 学习愉快! |
In total, these revision lessons cover approximately 13000 words. They contain much information, and will require days of study for each lesson. Happy studying! |
