DAMAGE 损伤

damage (n), (singular): Injury, harm, breakage or pollution. 伤害,伤害,损坏或污染。

"the law of supply and demand" = an economic law stating that people buy less of a product when the price is high, and more when the price is low. drill (n), drills (pl): A tool that makes holes. 打孔的工具。

Examples: Frank uses a small electric drill for most drilling work, and a larger percussion drill for drilling concrete. 示例:Frank在大多数钻孔工作中使用小型电钻,而在混凝土钻孔中使用较大的冲击钻。

dye (n), dyes (pl): A liquid used to change the colour of objects, usually fabrics. 用于改变物体颜色的液体,通常是织物。

dye (v): To change the colour of something using a liquid. 用液体改变某物的颜色。
