课93:及物还是不及物?

Lesson 93: Transitive or Intransitive?

These words describe the different ways that verbs act. Although they sound complicated, you have seen examples many times during these Lessons. 这些词描述了动词的不同行为方式。 尽管它们听起来很复杂,但是在这些课程中,您已经多次看到示例。

The action of a Transitive verb "transitions" (= moves) through the verb to the object - the action is done to the object. 以及物动词“过渡”(=移动)通过动词作用于对象的动作-该动作完成于对象。

Example: Frank broke the plate. The verb "broke" acts on the noun "plate", which is the object of the action. 例子:弗兰克打破了盘子。 动词“ broke”作用在作为动作对象的名词“ plate”上。

An Intransitive Verb does not have an object - the action is done by the subject itself. 不及物动词没有宾语-动作由主语本身完成。

Example: The plate broke. 示例:盘子坏了。

Many verbs can be both transitive and intransitive. Here are some more examples. 许多动词既可以是及物,也可以是不及物。 这里还有更多示例。

There is a second transitive verb in this sentence - "pushed" acts on the noun "button". 这句话中还有第二个及物动词-“推”作用在名词“按钮”上。
